These are the same terms you accept inside the app. By creating an account or using Perfect Day, operated by Perfect Day Social Inc, you agree to the terms below.
Age requirement. Perfect Day is intended for users 18 and older. By accepting these terms, you confirm you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
California residents. Under CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of your personal data. You may opt out of data sharing at any time via Settings → Privacy. We do not sell your personal information.
Terms of Service
By accepting, you agree that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You will not use the app to harass, harm, or impersonate others.
- Content you post is your own and does not infringe third-party rights.
- Perfect Day may suspend accounts that violate community standards.
- In-app purchases, including Perfect Day+ subscriptions, are governed by Apple's or Google's payment terms.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period.
- California subscribers may cancel within 3 business days of subscribing for a full refund.
- Perfect Day is not liable for plans, reservations, or events arranged through the app.
- We reserve the right to update these terms with 30 days' notice.
- Disputes are governed by California law and resolved through binding arbitration.
Permissions
All permissions below are required to use Perfect Day.
Location Access
What we collect: your city-level and precise location when the app is in use.
- To show you relevant local events, venues, and Perfect Day Picks in your area.
- To surface nearby places on the Explore map.
- To power day plan recommendations based on your location.
- To show friends your approximate neighborhood when sharing plans (never your exact address).
What we don't do: We do not sell your location data to third parties or data brokers. We do not share precise location with advertisers. In compliance with CCPA, you may limit or opt out of location sharing at any time via Settings → Privacy.
Photos & Camera
What we access: photos you explicitly choose to share within Perfect Day.
- Upload photos to your profile, day plan posts, and place reviews.
- Share photos with friends on plans.
- Camera access for taking photos directly in-app.
What we don't do: We do not scan, analyze, or upload photos without your explicit action. We do not use your photos to train AI models. You can grant selected-photos access only, and change it at any time in your iPhone Settings.
Notifications
Transactional notifications (plan votes, confirmations, reminders, friend requests, security alerts) are always sent while notifications are on.
- Perfect Day Picks — weekly drops in your city.
- Personalized place recommendations based on your list and past plans.
- Events and experiences coming up in your area.
- Partner offers and exclusive access from brand partners.
- Perfect Day+ trial and subscription reminders.
Promotional and discovery notifications (above) can be managed at any time via Settings → Notifications inside the app, or your iPhone's system notification settings.
